Plain-language terms for using the Village beta. This is a working draft for the beta, not a legal certification.
It's a beta
Village is an early version, run by a small team for families across Florida. Things change, break and move. We may pause or change a feature at any time.
Listings are sample data for now
Every place, event and at-home idea in the beta is demonstration data. Opening hours, prices, ages and availability are not verified and may be wrong. Call the venue before you go, and use your own judgement about what suits your family.
Nothing is booked or reserved
Saving an idea or putting it in your plans does not book, hold or pay for anything. Village is a place to decide, not a booking service. "Add to calendar" only creates a reminder on your own device.
Rewards are concepts
Any reward, pass, quest or partner offer shown in the beta is an idea we are exploring. It cannot be bought, earned or redeemed.
Your account
Use one account per household and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for the activity on your account. You can delete your account and its data from Profile at any time.
Please be reasonable
Don't use Village to send someone else's personal details, to post illegal or harmful content, to scrape the catalog, or to break the app or other people's use of it. Feedback and suggestions may be reviewed by the Village team.
What you send us
Feedback, place suggestions, corrections and business drafts you send can be used to improve Village — for example to fix a listing or add a place. Don't send anything you'd want to keep private.
No warranty
Village is provided as-is while we are in beta. We can't promise the app is always available or that a listing is accurate, and we aren't responsible for what happens on an outing.
